

The first Club Competition for the WBC was the Club Pairs where many teams entered and enjoyed healthy competition.
The final was won by Shirley Leabeater and Ivy Hitchens, The runners up were Pat Saunders and Joyce Thorpe.
Welcome to North Ryde RSL Women's Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls caters from all ages from teenagers through to mature age.
Bowlers must join the North Ryde RSL Community Club to be a playing member of the Bowls Club.
Fees are inexpensive and free coaching is available

Lawn bowls is a great sport that offers excellent social interaction combined with club facilities second to none.
Whether you want to be a competitive player, or just a social bowler, all your needs are catered for. New bowlers are nurtured, coached and encouraged, while experienced bowlers find strong competition at our club.

Playing Times:
Ladies play bowls each Tuesday and Thursday.
Men are welcome to join in on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Call 02 9870 5739 between 8.30 am and 9.00am on the day for a game and arrive by 9am to pay green fees.
Free coaching is available by appointment.
The WBC currently has two sides in Macquarie District Pennants- Grade 1 and Grade 3.
Games will be played from February 20 until March 22.
Grade 1 will compete for six games against teams from Greenlees, Carlingford and Brush Park.
Grade 3 will compete for ten games against teams from Brush Park, Tigers Five Dock, Beecroft, Denistone and Carlingford.
Grade 3 had a win in the first round held on Feb 20 and Grade 1 had a draw.
At club level we will be welcoming some 80 guests to our Fashion Parade on March 5 where the proceeds will be donated to Bowl for Others- a charity who supports some 12 charities across all areas e.g. Heart Foundation, Altzheimers among others.
In April we will have our Club Major Singles.
